   Gee, one of my favorite subjects.  I am just showing the main course but of course sweet potatoes go great with steaks and steamed veggies.  Nice and medium inside, yummy!

Monday Morning photo shoot. Expression

Your Monday Photo Shoot: Present a picture that clearly shows a particular emotion. Happy, sad, thrilled, bummed, anything in between.

    Well Rick looks very sleepy and tired here.  Just got done riding our bicycles for 14 miles so he is resting.  Rick.....Rick wake up Rick.  Still got a mile to go.  Wake up.....

So Can you take Too many Flower Shot?

  

           Well, I did get one or 2 turtles.


     



I really like the contrasting colors in the picture below.




          And I really like the Black Eyed Susie above.

backyard visitors

    The buck in the front charged us right after this shot.  Strangely enough there was a baby with them.  They are usually only seen with the does.  I wonder if that means the mother has been killed?  They were doing an impressive job of protecting it.

Monday Morning Photo Shoot with John

Your Monday Photo Shoot: Take a shot of something unusual on the street where you live. The challenge? It can't be a shot of something of yours. Which means you'll have to, you know, walk down the street a bit. The definition of "unusual" I leave to you. My only suggestion is that it should be in public view, unless you can convince a neighbor to let you in their house and take photographs of the freakish stuff they have there. And if you can, well. Good on you.

       Ok this is new on our street and I haven't seen another like it.  I don't know the people, did they lose someone?  Anyway it is pretty neat.....and sad!
